About our Club

Flying since 2002, the club brings together people in the South East region interested in flying model planes and helicopters.
We have members ranging from total beginners to world standard flyers and our members will help anyone with a keen interest to progress to the level and style of flying that they wish. We have several members interested in 'Scale' flying also, and Spitfires and Messerschmitts can often be seen chasing each other around the flying field.
Informal training can be provided by our members on every aspect from choosing a model (plane or helicopter) to taking first flights and progressing to scale or acrobatic flying. First flights are taken with a 'buddy' lead connecting two transmitters. This means that the beginner is like a 'co-pilot', with the trainer always ready to take over if a difficulty arises.
Membership is limited, so if you are interested, click 'Contact Us' and fill in the enquiry form to get started.
